Plaza is participating in the agreement established in 2017 between Aragon Logistics Platforms (APL) and the Zaragoza Logistics Centre (ZLC) to create a line of support for logistics excellence in Aragón, whose aim is to provide excellent professionals with advanced training in the subject and promote the image of Aragon as a logistic brand.
The Aragon Government, via Aragon Logistics Platforms, finances various actions in this area. Notable among them is the sponsorship of international Logistics seminars, bringing together managers of large international companies and experts in the sector to share their experience and discuss current trends in the world of logistics. It is a great opportunity to get in touch with professionals from different institutions and countries that have one common feature: the search for excellence in Logistics.
The programme managed by Plaza and the rest of the public companies that make up the APL considers financing training scholarships in the ZLC to facilitate the access of students to the two masters taught by the foundation:
- Master of Engineering in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (ZLOG): This offers training in the supply chain for the global environment and was created together with the main University in this field, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), to prepare students to create an impact in a wide range of companies on an international scale.
- Masters in Supply Chain Management (MDSC): This is a Zaragoza University qualification, and establishes a delicate balance between its technical content, essential for supply chain management, and a number of management tools, such as finance, strategy, leadership, negotiation, the economic environment and decision-making.
In both cases, the objective is to train the leaders of the future in the area of logistics and supply chain management.
