The Zaragoza Logistics Platform (PLAZA) management, under the Department of Economy, Industry and Employment, yesterday closed an agreement with the Spanish business group EPSA Internacional for the sale of a plot of 40,000m2, to be formalised this quarter.
The plot is adjacent to 3 other sites previously acquired by this company from Plaza itself and another private owner, bringing the total to over 300,000m2.
This operation means the Logistics Platform will be offering this company one of the largest land masses available in Spain for the installation of a business macro project on entirely urban land with good connections: just 500m from the railway terminal and the A2 motorway and 1km from Zaragoza Airport.
The work of attracting investment to and marketing of Plaza has been revived during this administration, during which a total area of land of 308,845m2 has been sold, not including land transfers. The operation consolidates the business policy and the new impetus given to Plaza in particular, and the joint action with the other platforms, under the Aragon Logistics Platform strategy.
